We came, we celebrated, and we made history!<\/p>\n
On behalf of the STC OBA of Canada, we want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who attended our 175th Anniversary Dinner Dance. It was an overwhelming success and a true testament to the enduring Thomian spirit! From the moment the doors opened, the energy was electric. It was an absolute joy to see old friends reconnecting, new memories being made, and our vibrant community coming together to honour 175 years of faith, tradition, and excellence.<\/p>\n

Highlights of a Spectacular Evening<\/h3>\nFor those who were there, you know it was a night to remember. For those who couldn’t make it, here is a glimpse of the magic we shared:<\/p>\n
Warm Vibes & Cool Jazz<\/strong>:<\/b> The evening kicked off elegantly with complimentary cocktails, mimosas, and hors d’oeuvres set to the smooth sounds of live saxophone music.<\/p>\n A Grand Thomian Entrance<\/strong>:<\/b> Goosebumps filled the room as the College Flag was ceremonially marched in by Flag bearer Ravi Niles, followed by a proud group of Teachers from STC and STPS and a slew of old Thomians who performed a unified rendition of the College Song. Culinary Excellence<\/strong>:<\/b> We settled at the Table of Fellowship for an exquisite four-course plated dinner, perfectly complemented by the dinner-time melodies of the Cadenced Trio. Non-Stop Entertainment:<\/strong> The Skylines kept the dance floor packed all night long, from the early waltz and tango sessions to high-energy sets that had everyone on their feet.<\/p>\n Epic Baila & Special Guests<\/strong>:<\/b> The energy hit the roof during the highly competitive Baila Competition, topped off by a phenomenal special guest performance by Babu Jayakanthan and our very own superstar talent Kamaj Silva!<\/p>\n The Midnight Feast<\/strong>: Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, the legendary late-night Sri Lankan buffet opened, treating everyone to fresh, mouth-watering hoppers and traditional favorites to fuel the final hours of dancing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Winning Big<\/strong>:<\/b> Congratulations to all the lucky winners of our midnight raffle draw!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/stcoba-canada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Cadenced-1.jpg\")
