Dear Beloved Thomian Family,
As we celebrate 175 years of tradition and excellence, we stand on the shores of our beloved college by the sea—a place where fraternity 
and cherished memories have molded not merelymen, but true gentlemen, guided by our enduring motto: “Esto perpetua”. Drawing inspiration from the profound reflections of our founder, Bishop James Chapman, we remember that our community is not just an institution, but a family.
Tonight, as we gather together for this memorable dance, I extend my deepest gratitude to everyone whose prayers, support, and acts of solidarity have paved the way for our successes over the years. Your unwavering commitment has helped us achieve our goals, and it is this shared spirit that continues to enrich our vibrant community. And a warm thank-you as well to our sponsors and advertisers, whose generosity and belief in us have helped bring this special night to life.
Let us celebrate the legacy of our past, the unity of our present, and the promise of our future. May this evening be filled with joy, reflection, and the knowledge that together we continue to build a legacy that will shine for generations to come.
Being a Thomian is not simply a chapter in our lives—it is a lifelong journey. From the first day we stepped onto those grounds, we were not only students, we became brothers. Bound by shared experiences, enduring friendships, and values instilled deep within us, we carry a piece of College wherever we go. The lessons we’ve learned, the challenges we’ve faced, and the triumphs we’ve shared have all contributed to shaping us into men of character and courage.
Our brotherhood knows no boundaries. It transcends age, geography, and time as we are exhibiting today. Our bond remains unbroken. This is the magic of being a Thomian—a sense of unity that connects us all. It is in the cheers of the Big Match, the prayers in the Chapel, the laughter across the quadrangle, and the pride we carry in our hearts.
As President, I am humbled and honoured to stand among such distinguished sons of our alma mater. Your continued support and enthusiasm are a testament to the strength of our brotherhood and the enduring values instilled in us by our College.
Let us move forward as torch bearers of this great legacy. Let us continue to inspire the next generation of Thomians to uphold what makes our community unique. And above all, let us never forget that no matter where life takes us, we will forever bleed blue, black, and blue.
